Alfredo leaves his provincial family to enroll in drama school in Madrid. He meets Daniel and Lucia, but rapidly becomes disenchanted with the conventions of drama school and storms out, declaring he wants to change the world. He starts work as a waiter and then puts together a street theater group called November, aided by similar-minded students and his old buddy Juan.
