A reworking of Fatal Attraction with strong performances and a decent climax that just about compensates for the film's failures in pacing and plotting.

What I love most about Obsessed is that it makes no sense. I could give you a long, drawn out plot synopsis or I could just ask you if you have seen either Play Misty For Me or Fatal Attraction. You have? Well now you have the basic plot except in those two films there's an actua...( read more)

Hoowee...what a spycho! The cast was pretty impressive and mst of the time delivered. It started out ok, started dragging a little but then delievered at the end wih the chick fight. It's ok to watch, not sure I would sit down for it again though.

Pretty creepy, but not as good as I thought it would be. I was expecting a little more, but it was enjoyable.

So so but typical women falls for man and will do anything to disrupt his life. Usual wife.obsessor fight and everything turn salright in the end.
Critic Reviews
Even as junk, Obsessed isn't kick-ass enough. The wind-up to Sharon's explosion takes too long, and director Steve Shill can't stage a real donnybrook. full review
Great-looking actors, glossy locations and a knock-down, drag-out girlfight still don't make Obsessed anything more than a predictable and tawdry Fatal Attraction-style guilty pleasure. full review
Obsessed takes far too long to get cooking, and it works so hard at not being exploitation that it loses sight of its reasons for existing in the first place. full review
I'd call this stenchcloud 'Fatal Attraction meets The Temp,' but that would insult those movies. full review
It's strictly a generic thriller, perhaps the 105th blatant rip-off of 'Fatal Attraction', but not without its own guilty pleasures. full review
Director Shill doesn't get fancy building tension from his nonsensical male-anxiety mayhem, allowing Knowles's beguiling fierceness and Larter's sexualized cunning to carry much of the prurient load. full review
