Welcome to real life with a twist. The things that happen in this movie happen to everyone, well almost everyone. Great story with a hilarious cast, and great writing. It is a comedy classic that stands the test of time.
This zany comedy tells the story of freustrated office people, and is well loved as one of those easily understood flicks about how crappy it can be to work in an office. (9 to 5 was way better).
This is one of the best movies of all time. I absolutely love it. It really hits the nail on the head when it comes to its depiction of an office job or any job at that matter. There is always an overbearing boss, annoying coworkers, and days when you wish you could take a stand like Peter and say "I hate my job, and I just don't think I'm going to do it anymore..."
"Last Straw...Burn the place down"-Opal Repeats Alot; Funny: Tom crawling up the hill; guys driving at beginning; My Fav.-(Lawrence) I got a job doing drywall down at the McDonald's
I must admit that it's pretty dead-on about the mindset of us poor office drones, and it did make me smile a lot. I liked it, but it never really made me bust out laughing. Maybe I expect too much...
"I could take my traveler's cheques to a competing resort... I could put strychnine in the gaucomole... There was salt on the glass, big grains of salt..."
a classic....anyone who works in an office environment can relate to these characters...the portrayls, while excessive, are very funny and will provide numerous laughs..sit back and enjoy!!
This movie will always be special to me it's very funny and has some moments where you just wanna jump through the tv and smack certain people!!!! STAPLER!!!!
The first half of this film contains some brilliant funny office observations. The last third of the film looses steam and the whole plot to embezzle money doesn?t generate as many laughs.
This is pretty much on point in my sorry cubicle of an office life. That being said, this should be depressing, but instead it never fails to make me laugh - for all of us cube dwellers who have been there (and are still there) and recognize all of these characters this one is fun. Love the kicking the daylights out of the printer scene - Ron Livingston goes all "gangsta" on it. Yah - I understand.
A comedy about the goings on in an office full of very bored workers. Jennifer Aniston makes it half watchable, but alittle on the average side for my taste.
Pretty darned funny. I kinda hated the part where Jennifer Anistion and Ron Livingston broke up over a misunderstanding, though. I hate when that happens in movies. I think that in real life he would find out it was a different Lumberg. That kind of stuff bugs me. Funny movie, though.
kinda cute ive been there and i hate corporate america too wouldnt mind having a non 9 to 5 job or should i say in this comedy an 8 to 5 job cause no one i know pays for your lunch hour anymore
