Oliver and Company has catchy songs, a cuddly hero, humor, and action, truly an enjoyable family treat. The film in general is quite delightful, a loose adaptation of "Oliver Twist" with a contemporary, street-smart survival story. I saw it as a kid and is probably a big factor in the reason I love dogs and cats so much. Not too many people remember this Disney adventure, but it still has a special place in my heart and always will.
My god. I never knew this cartoon was that old :O . However. I love love love love love this cartoon! One of those movies that were played and played because kids can't handle it just once. :)
I loved this movie, it was so cute! I especially liked "Tito"!
Good story, (of course, it's Oliver!) and I liked the music too! - So "Why should I worry"?
I loved this as a kid! A fun take on the musical Oliver. This is also one of the more serious Disney films as it includes a couple death and has a serious tone at parts.
I like kids movies that deal with a lot of serious grown up issues. "Why Should I Worry" was one of my fave Disney Sing a Long songs. Also, "You and Me".
i dont remember all of this movie but boy was it ever cute :D i have always loved it and i mean.... ya its sad but its so frikien sute with the little kitty oliver

I remember this animated Disney movie from my childhood days. It's "Oliver & Company", the modern-day adaptation of Charles Dickens' "Oliver Twist"; this version covers a homeless cat blending in with dogs owned by Fagin. When I first watched this movie 10-12 years ago, I had learned that this was based on "Oliver Twist", so I then went and found Dickens' story and searched for similarities and differences between both versions. In the end of the search, I would then enjoy both the Dickens' novel and the Disney movie that was adapted from it. Anyways....this is a great movie!
Its a shame that this doesn't get the recognition of some more high profile Disney films. Its far and away better than anything House of Mouse has done since The Lion King.
Disney does Dickens in this animated version of Oliver Twist, in which a homeless New York City cat falls in with a bunch of mischievous dogs under the leadership of the appealing scoundrel Fagin.
This one is also one of my favorite disney movies. It has sweet parts, funny parts and parts that make you sad. It really does have everything needed in a disney movie. EVERY kid should see this movie.
This is one of the more under rated Disney movies. I'm pretty sure it wasn't that popular when it was released. It was right at the start of the disney cartoon musical madness time. I think that the music is a lot of fun. It's the classic story of Oliver Twist with that Disney charm thrown in. The vocal cast is steller, and the script is fun. It's a great movie that deserves a bit more recognition.
As the first movie I ever saw in the theaters I have to give it props. One of the very few Disney movies where I love the music. They really catpured the spirit of Oliver Twist here I thought too.
