On the Right Track' is a vehicle for Mr. Coleman that depends entirely on the premise that he is lovable. Only his most ardent television fans are likely to accept this.

If there's anything I can't stand in a movie, it's a sweet, lovable, cute little kid who is so adorable, and knows he's so adorable, you want to cringe. That's why seeing Gary Coleman in On the Right Track was so much fun for me.

Other than a few cute lines and situations, there's little else of value in this absurd and extremely naive picture.
