  One Jim Carreys first films and its a pretty fun little vamp film with lots of nice moments and a very sexy Lauren Hutton :) The plot is extremely simple and kinda like a vampire version of 'Teenwolf' with all the teenage boy angst and virgin issues but that's what makes the film fun I guess. The whole sexual undercurrent with Hutton trying to 'have' Carrey is good fun in a kooky kind of way but also you can't help but wish Lauren Hutton would do the same to you haha its childish but naughty at the same time. Carrey is good in this too I might add and clearly shows some of megastar talent that was on the way, alittle impression of Robert De Niro midway through is really good plus we see some rubber face antics here and there. Cleavon Little's performance in this is fun too as a gay/camp servant to his vamp Mistress, probably the best character in the film. Its all fun and silly but not as good as 'Teenwolf'.

  A funny teen comedy about vampires, it's not great, in fact it's pretty cheesy, but I really enjoyed it, it's fun.

  Awesome 80s soundtrack like 3-speed and various other bands i have never heard of, but really really dig that music. Jim Carey can dance? wow! and he is sooo young its awesome to see that some of his potential is released in that film. Quite a great film if you love Carey from going to this to the majestic, wow! The film is alright, I wouldn't suggest anyone that did not live in the 80s to watch, but if you liked Nightmare on elm street and you will probably love this. I guess tho if it wasn't for jim carey or lauren hutton i wouldn't have watched this fiilm.

  Could've been one of the first really good horror comedies, unfortunately they discarded all the horror and most of the comedy. Fresh-faced Jim Carrey still gets a couple moments to shine like busting some moves during an energetic Halloween dance.

  When Jim Carrey was a teenager. So funny as he portrays Mark, a virgin that is trying to score with his girlfriend. Only thing is he is unlucky there, until a female Vampire ( Lauren Hutten) sets out her local hunters to track down a virgin in order to keep her eternal beauty. Once Mark is found, she does everything possible to make sure Mark is hers before the deadline. In between, Mark is slowly becoming a Vampire, dressing in black, and sleeping during the day in his chest. So funny and amusing. The hilarious part is when Mark's girlfriend set's his two best friends to check for bite marks that are in an unusual place...lol! SO funny, that scene will have you rolling! A great comedy!
