Cute movie. The guy wasn't the best singer in the world, but the story was really enjoyable. I liked the Falling Slowly song - very pretty!

Brilliant
Such a movie story that is so real and true. It doesnt try to be anything that it isnt. It takes you on this journey that moves you with music and a hidden love. Fantastic. -

Way way way overrated. However, most of the songs are quite good. The actual film left much to be desired, but I can definitely see however how this film would appeal to the "want to be artist" or the "frustrated spouse" crowd.

Let's be honest, this is what a movie-musical is supposed to be. Remarkable original songs, no aspirations for a Broadway adaptation, and a love story so sincere, it has to be true in real life.

The movie was good, but the music was better. It dragged to an almost dead stop at times. The performances were good, but the real star of the movie was the music, so see it just for that.
