Fantastic cinema. Nurse Ratchett commanding without hardly raising her voice at all. Powerful and enigmatic friendships, with a great young Christopher Lloyd and an unrecognizable Danny DeVito.
Best film of 1975. Jack Nicholson and Louise Fletcher has their best performances of their career. Milos Forman directed his best movie of his career.
Gave it a shot to see if I would like it and I did. Not the most interesting of movies as some scenes are drawn out but there are moments of greatness, especially the last few minutes. Jack Nicholson really shows his acting talent in this one as well.
If you ever wondered what a perfect film is, with first class acting all around, then look no further than One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. It's absolutely brilliant.

I'm a dork and actually read the play version of this story first, then stumbled upon the movie, but I think both are incredible. Incredibly moving, incredibly rememberable, incredibly everything.

There are no obvious (or even minuscule) flaws in Cuckoo's Nest, the film is full of great moments (prepare to watch Randall work the floor for votes to watch a World Series game several times) but be prepared for a break from the standard Hollywood offerings. One Flew Over the C...( read more)
