An interesting point is raised early on in the film that "movie love" doesn't really exist, yet while the film periodically references it, it never lives up to it only disprove (or ignore) the point completely.
Great cast though. This is one of the best performances I've seen Bonnie Hunt give. As someone who is usually stuck in the supporting roles, she was really able to fully explore the arc of her own character.
Downey is disgustingly talented. -

Not being into romantic comedies, I hadn't planned on seeing this one. Caught this on HDnet Movies and it is a very sweet romantic comedy. Robert Downey, Jr brings his own uniqueness to the film, plus Tomei and Hunt are really good. If you enjoy romantic comedies, you will not want to miss this one.

this was a good flick back when it came out and still is a good one to watch from time to time, especially if your one of those who like to joke about superstitions, or fate.

MCT:May 13, 2008Started watching when I realised I'd seen the story before - it's "French Kiss" - well obviously the earlier version. So then the plot was spoiled. Found Tomei rather annoying but Downey Jr was good for a watch. Wouldn't rush out to get it...
