  A satirical workplace comedy with an action twist. A dark, edgy and wild as hell blast of a film. A wickedly entertaining and savage comedic-thriller that's just as much of as an action film that's filled with great humor and great action. It's stylish, slick and exceptionally crafted. A terrific cast of actors who all look like they are having great time in this film. One of the brightest and most original genre films of 2010. A brutally hilarious, sharply suspenseful and action-packed movie. It packs some cool twist that keep you guessing. A tremendously enjoyable way to spend 82 minutes. Rob Corddy is outrageous and terrific. Ellen Barkin is sexy and tough as nails.

  The action is pretty mindless, but the movie is really more comedy than anything else. It seems like a typical day at the office, until something goes terribly wrong and suddenly everyone starts killing each other. Though still cracking jokes and making sarcastic banter. It's written and performed well for the most part. Aside from a couple of exceptions, the impressive cast list only play bit parts. Don't expect to see much of Ving Rhames or Zack Galifianakis, for example. I was disappointed what I wished Maggie Q's character should have survived at the end, but she didn't.

Now, he must uncover the murderer before they all lose their jobs -- or their lives. My Thoughts: "It was a simple fun action film. Had lots of good fun fight scenes with some really unique killing styles. It's literally just chaos all the way through. Rob Corddry brought the laughs. Emile De Ravin's character 'Heirophant', was by far the craziest. That giggle she gives after a killing screams insane. She played it well. All the actors where great in this. The plot of the film kind of gets lost in all the chaos. But there is a good twist. It's worth the rental if your in the mood for a fun action comedy."

  "You think it's easy to look like a bearded tampon?" What a weird, odd, and ultimately underwhelming mixture Operation: Endgame ended up being.  I was expecting a bloody action comedy with several really hot women and a couple of funny/interesting actors playing rival assassins who are out for blood, but instead I got a predictable, poorly scripted, ham-fisted critique on Bush-era intelligence operations. The great cast was really the only thing that made this movie somewhat worth my time. We've got Odette Yustman, Zach Galifiankis, Maggie Q, Rob Corddry, Adam Scott, Brandon T. Jackson, Emilie de Ravin, Ving Rhames, Jeffrey Tambor...it's like someone asked me personally about all the actors I'd like to see in a movie. Yet, they're utterly wasted on characters that are terribly written. It shouldn't be possible to make a mediocre movie with a cast this great, but whoever wrote the script certainly pulled it off. The majority of the jokes are unfunny (Corddry does get a few gems, though), the fight choreography is unimpressive, and the movie as a whole would have been better with the looping real-life footage of President Obama's inauguration and the lame attempts to ground the story in some kind of political statement. I'm all for messages in movies, but Operation: Endgame goes about it without any subtlety or wit, and seemed a muddled mess as a result.   I'm giving this a high score than it deserves because I got some enjoyment just from the opportunity to see a few of the actors I'm quite fond of (good Lord, Odette Yustman looks fantastic in a tank top), but I feel pretty comfortable advising others to just skip it, entirely. It's a shame that a movie with such potential ended up stumbling in the execution.

One killer day at the office."</i> A battle ensues among groups of government spy teams in an underground facility after their boss is assassinated. <center><font size=+2 face="Century Schoolbook"><b><u>REVIEW</u></b></font></center> Operation Endgame, a satirical workplace comedy with a slick action twist is not without its flaws. The plot is convoluted, most of the dialog is incredibly silly and the whole thing isn't that funny. Having said that, the film is damn entertaining. The cast is composed, among others, by Zach Galifianakis, Emilie de Ravin, Maggie Q, Rob Corddry, Ellen Barkin ,Bob Odenkirk and Ving Rhames. There's plenty of star power here but, while some of the actors were delightful, others were completely underused. Being a battle royale of sorts, the deaths kept piling up and therefore some brilliant actors like Bob Odenkirk had very little screen time. In the end, it's all about what you're expecting. Operation Endgame is no Oscar contender. This is mindless fun with a bit of action and gore in the middle and the film clearly doesn't take itself too serious and in my opinion it succeeded in what it intended to do which is, to entertain.

  Operation Endgame sucks. I just want to get that out of the way. This film was supposed to be a sort of action parody of spy films, but it's just a horrible 80 minute mess that isn't funny, isn't interesting, and winds up being someone's pathetic excuse for a film. I could go over the plot, but why waste the time or energy in getting into it. What saddens me is that this film had the potential to at the very least be an average pot boiler comedy for actors to do before they did some real film work. What Operation: Endgame represents is a blight on their permanent records. This film is a god damn travesty that I wouldn't wish on anyone. You will be dumb struck by the sheer shitiness of the proceedings that unfold before you as you wonder "why the fuck was this movie made?" Why?

  Officespace with violent eliminations. Operation Endgame sees the film begin with the menial chitter chatter and bickering you'd find in an office environment. It soon descends into violent chaos as these assassins and spies have to off one another. The well placed humor soon gives way to awesome fight scenes, enacted with blunt realism by it's mostly comedic cast. Barkin and Yustman are both incredibly sexy and dangerous, with Corddry cementing himself as an angry comic presence after both this and Hot Tub Time Machine. It is all brisk and quotable, and excels with some genuine surprises and the lack of guns as available weapons. The only downer is that the office relationships soon give way to the plot and action. An unexpected treat that nails the hilarity and action sequences with surprising competence and style.

  Fill a room with hilarious actors playing semi-serious roles, fighting to the death and Operation Endgame is the result. Though the film would have never stood as a theatrical release, the quality of Operation Endgame is advanced for a straight-to-DVD release and with such a stacked cast, the film simply works. Perhaps the vague genre was intentional to attract an array of viewers, yet Corddry and Galifianakis will prove to be, without a doubt, the selling point of the film.

  In what starts out as a promising action comedy with a pretty awesome cast, 'Operation: Endgame' quickly dissolves into nothing more than a countdown of who's going to die next. None of the capable comedy stars are given time to develop their characters as the film only runs about an hour and fifteen minutes and by half an hour in blood is being splattered everywhere. Only Joe Anderson and Ellen Barkin are really allowed time to pull the audience in to their stories yet the story never really feels fleshed out. And though I dont mind either Anderson or Barkin in the few roles I've seen them in, they weren't the two actors I was most interested in seeing here. To be honest, I only rented this direct-to-dvd release because it featured Galifianakis, Corddry and Adam Scott who I thought would generate some pretty entertaining dialogue between each other. To bad Galifianakis and Scott are only on screen about twenty minutes between the two of them and even though Corddry survives for longer than most of the cast and is able to fire some pretty great insults at people, in the end he is simply a pawn in a messier game and movie that never gets its feet off the ground. And so as the majority of the cast is killed off quickly and the plot is too incomprehensible to even care for we walk away feeling more cheated by this film than anything. The premise and cast made for a better outcome in my own mind than in the directors-he executes some pretty gruesome fight scenes and captures the right tone only ever so often. Its just a waste really, both of your time and all the talent involved.

  This was really, really fun to watch! It is kind of like The Office, full of quirky characters with a bunch of issues. Of course this office is full of sadistic murderers, so it just makes it that much more entertaining. Rob Corddry has carved out a little niche in the comedy world, and has hit his stride. SO well in fact, that any movie that he is in I will be the first in line to see. Really great bunch of actors and a pretty off-the-wall plot make this a very guilty pleasure.
