I thought I'd really like this, but I was disappointed. It was slow, and didn't seem to have much of a purpose. I get that it was supposed to be the smart, cyclical type movie, with a real day-to-day in small town life feel to it.. and it hits its mark on occasion, but was only...( read more) OK overall.

I really enjoyed this film - it was kind of heartbreaking but redeeming to see so many people just going through the motions, and others striving to make the best out of life.

A must see. Allison Janney. Small town flare. A musical. What more could you want?

This is the type of movie that you really WANT to like, but unfortunately the melodrama makes it feel like a made-for-Lifetime movie. There are a couple of likeable young actors in it, but otherwise doesn't have a lot going for it.

I loved this movie SO much. It was different than what I thought it was going to be, but I thought it was pretty amazing. I would absolutely recommend this. Allison Janney is FANTASTIC, as is the entire cast.

Cameron did a superb job casting and directing.

Our Very Own Trivia

  • To deny our own impulses is to deny the very thing that makes us human. Throughout human history, we have been dependent on machines to survive. Fate, it seems, is not without a sense of irony. There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path. I know kung fu.  Answer »
