The decaying underground labyrinth is lovingly lighted and lensed resulting in a superior, atmospheric shocker that will have you jumping out of your seats..

MCT:July 4, 2008Kalau aku diberi peluang untuk jadi pengarah filem ini untuk remake dalam versi Malaysia, aku akan buat "Zombie Askar Jepun". Kenapa tak? Bukankah dulu kita sering didengarkan dengan kisah-kisah mitologi seram askar jepun – Antaranya hantu jepun tak berkepala (ala Hantu Jeruk Purut), berkawad, pancung kepala orang dan sebagainya? Kau gelak? Nanti dulu. Usah terlalu pesimis. Buangkan skeptisme itu. Biar aku ambil filem Outpost ini sebagai contoh dan terangkan kenapa kita juga boleh bikin (biarpun aku tak ada bakat langsung bikin filem).
Tema besar filem produksi UK ini bermesejkan anti-perang (selepas era pos-WWII). Kita mungkin tidak sedar, kerana ia dibikin bukan sekadar apresiasi horror, tetapi infernaliti perang itu sendiri secara komprehensif. MCT:July 3, 2008Brilliant that the film makers re-morged their house to make this genre film, but it was unfortunately boring, however not bad in the sense that its a first time low budget feature. Bad script, bad acting, not very good make-up effects. How can you go wrong with Nazi Zombies?

War/Zombie Film with British Lead actors. Alright to watch only once then discard it in the rubbish.

MCT:July 1, 2008I thought it'd be a generic horror movie, but it was surprisingly good. It was pretty dark and claustrophobic, with psychological scares aplenty, in contrast with the average film that gets its shock factor based on the amount of gore it tosses around. Definitely a cult classic (at least for me).
