I loved the movie and the girls we're sooo pretty...but I think the way she died was sooo stupid, anyways if it was some other way it wasnt gonna be funny...
Humm well i expected more.. Don't get me wrong it is funny & a nice theory but wrong cast & set for teenages?? More like 6yr olds!! & what the hell is with Jason Biggs part?? Very random... I think i laughed twice throught this movie which is not fantastic for a so-called comedy! Such a shame as i had very high hopes for this movie! -- Oh & Lindsay Sloane im sure is a MAN!!
Another one that didn't really live up to the hype - the funny parts were all in the previews. Didn't love it. Didn't hate it. Didn't inspire much of anything really. ~yawn~
There's this basic romantic comedy formula we all now well with a little spice of "Ghost". It's entertaining and isn't that pretty much what it's all about? Does it bring something new to the genre? No.
There's a lot of cliches, like in the ending, which really let me down. But the actors are doing a good job, especially Paul Rudd and Lindsay Sloane (her I liked very much). Eva Longoria acts in the same way as in "Desperate Housewives" but I'm a fan of the show so that doesn't bother me at all.
Recommended for a date movie but just a reminder, there are better ones available...
Charming film that shows how someone can get over someone they loved bt not betray that person. it's good that this film shows how loving someone else isn't a bad thing. im sure this message would help alot of people in their life. its also quite funny.
this is the first time that i saw LONGORIA acted so it was quite a relief to know that she is an impressive actress! but to BELL, i wasn't quite sure if she was that LEADING LADY material for such movie! i loved her better in What Happens in Vegas! but still loved the movie 'cause of BIGGS and RUDD!!! they were the ones who were funny in the movie! watch this unbelievable movie! haha! and i loved SLOANE here too! she was very much like me of a sister to my brothers... hehe...
Uno imaginaria que en el segundo que aparece Eva Longoria en la pantalla la película está a punto de ser o un terrible fiasco o algo que pasa totalmente sin pena ni gloria pero en realidad su incursión en la pantalla grande en la comedia no es nada malo y de hecho es muy divertido.
En este filme Eva interpreta a un espiritu que necesita hacer algo bueno para irse en paz pero ella no es buena escuchando y termina creyendo que lo que tiene que hacer es alejar a una psiquica de el que alguna vez habia sido su prometido complicando todo y confundiendose ella misma.
La trama tal vez se parezca a algunos otros filmes sobre fantasmas, comedia y romance pero tiene unas pocas variaciones que lo hacen interesante más aun así predecible.
Jason Biggs me parece muy bueno en el papel que interpreta y en general el filme es gracioso por todo el elenco.
This was just a really bad knock off of Just Like Heaven, Ghost, and Ghost dad, only those three were actually decent. This movie just proved to me one thing that I never noticed in Desperate Houswives probably because I was checking her out instead of paying attention to her acting, but E. Longoria can not act for crap.
A failed romantic comedy flick with lack of qualified script writer...as the matter of fact, i'm throwing myself to such proposterous film just because knowing my favourite Desperate Housewives' spoilt brat starred...as an obnoxious banshee!
it's not like Eva's the foremost and only culprit of the film's failure...i love Gabrielle Solis with her distinctive character...but seems like she stucked up being a bitchy bothersome forever...she IS Gabrielle Solis whatsoever...
The other casts are fairly poor...in particular, Paul Rudd...it's like a total career suicide...he's killing his own career because his performance wasn't something worth to be blabbed of...neither Longoria-Rudd or Bell-Rudd had the chemistry...both are fairly poor and weren't something worth forgiven for...
It's so obvious that the crew are trying as hard as they could to make the film darn funny and they are forcing everything to amused audience...but it all turned out to be gibberish...
Well yeah, i have to admit i had laugh at some scenes...nevertheless, wasn't enough to pay off the lacks...
the idea was so good, but the result wasn't so great. however, it was pretty funny. I would like to disagree with those who state Eva Longoria can't act. In my opinion, she did a wonderful job
It was okay, but it didn't really flow for me. The end was awkward at best...tacky at worst. The one thing about it that I did like was its unpredictability.
This had us all aughing, even those who don't like this type of film. The great momets involve a heafty dog, a gym shower and a firend in the kitchen. there were many funny parts and only just a slight wish that there had been more of a shift in eva's kat character, there was just that bit more of her expression i wanted to see the dips and higs could have been a tiny bit bigger to give it more pull. loved it, funny light and gives you a fuzzy feeling.
I think they could have done Eva Longoria's hair and makeup differently she kinda of looks a little Vanessa Williams. I though this was a very cute romatic comedy.
