I loved the story and the main song 'De Rajalah' *sigh* it was so good, the whole ghost/djinn thing was maybe a little to....much, shall we say. I dont know about you, but I'd be scared to death to find out that my perfect baby's daddy was a ghost/djinn.
An interesting movie! A story about love, magic, and family. Juhi Chawla, Shahrukh Khan, and Rani Mukherjee give phenomenal performances. Amitabh Bachchan gives a hilarious performance as well. Beautiful scenery.
Aesthetically pleasing and heavily influenced by eastern religion, this movie handles the sacredness of marriage sacrilegiously. While I enjoyed the spectacle and the movie was sprinkled with light humor, vibrant with bright colors, exciting music and dancing... I did not care for the message. One thing is for sure, it causes one to think deeply about who sinned in this movie. Should the husband have left his new bride? Should the wife have cheated on her husband, even though he was physically and emotionally detached for five years? The movie justifies this sin and the audience is supposed to cheer for the deceiver and adulterer, not the husband who is innocent.
A Hopelessly Romantic Jinn! His soul wispered to her soul & a love story blossomed that crosses all lines. They created a world full of love and passion beyond this world!
good movie, with a meaningful moral. the colors and vibrancy was top notch in this movie. performance was ok, but the meaning was there. Rani did her best as always, and same with SRK. both my favorite actors in one movie! a must see, especially for the Marwaris and Gujjubhais!
really good! i thought the entire movie was beautiful awesome costumes, jewelryeverthing was really colorful! the only thing i didn't like was that the real husband was treated unjustly! awww come on he liked her too, he just didn't get thte chance to get to know her better! well, i really liked it.
Okay, so this was a basically good family movie. Laughs and heart-warming moments...but are we just supposed to accept the fact that the real husband is stuck in a water pouch somewhere in the desert for the rest of eternity?? The poor guy lost everything, and then again, he shouldn't have left his wife. Go, bhoot-man, go.
