I'd rather read about Director's thoughts and fears in a book. Tokio-ga explores the concept of image purity better. Wenders can't film iranian cinema in Portugal.

this movie should end at the middle, because the metaphorical and symbolical speech used by wenders cannot be bom. a very emotional statement made by wenders, but a trist storyline and a lack of dramaturgy cannot compensate this. imagery and soundtrack are awesome though...

Too much element that don,t seems to have a connection of a signification. The best elements are at the end, but still the music is nice and it remains beautiful.
