Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"Pointedly ugly vigilante screed."
‑ Robert Abele, L.A. Weekly
"Visually uninspired and dramatically overheated, Paparazzi has overall look and feel of generic direct-to-video production."
‑ Joe Leydon, Variety
"How can anyone with half a brain buy in to this nonsense?"
‑ Felix Vasquez Jr., Cinema Crazed
"Paparazzi just takes itself too seriously."
‑ Bill Clark, FromTheBalcony
"If the movie weren't done in such deadly earnest, it might have made a great cult-classic, 'so-bad-it's-good' flick, but as it is, it's simply bad."
‑ John J. Puccio, Movie Metropolis
"It doesn't take long for the film to devolve into a ludicrously far-fetched Celebrity Death Wish."
‑ Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly
"A vigilante movie so sleazy and creepy it makes Death Wish look like a comedy."
‑ Ruthe Stein, San Francisco Chronicle
"It's not a good sign when a director's primary claim to fame is as Mel Gibson's former hair stylist."
‑ Cole Smithey, ColeSmithey.com
"...a laughably over-the-top thriller..."
‑ David Nusair, Reel Film Reviews
"Paparazzi is Hollywood's egomaniacal warning to moviegoers: Love us, just don't come near us."
‑ Mark Palermo, Coast (Halifax, Nova Scotia)
"An egregiously self-serving slice of celebrity worship."
‑ Ben Kenigsberg, Village Voice
"A vigilante fable so boorish, brainless and mean-spirited, everyone involved should be locked up for assault."
‑ Lisa Rose, Newark Star-Ledger
"Loathsome doesn't begin to describe it. How about "toxic"?"
‑ Walter Chaw, Film Freak Central
"At least it's hilariously awful."
‑ Rich Cline, Shadows on the Wall
"Over the top, improbable, as cheesy as stuffed crust pizza and immensely entertaining."
‑ Rick Kisonak, Film Threat
