A really sweet romantic comedy that doesn't push the Australian angle that hard. Worth checking out.

One to watch with the girlfriend, especially if she likes Hugh Jackman - just watch out that you are not then expected to write romance novels.

This Australian romantic/comedy is a bout a rugged country truck driver named Jack (Hugh Jackman, who made his feature debut here) who has a secret: he has written a best-selling romance novel but has written it under the name of his best friend's fiance Ruby (Claudia Karvan), so that nobody would know it was him. When his publisher from city comes down to me him, he asks Ruby to pretend to be him and...well, you can guess what happens from there. While the story is predicable as they come but Jackman and Karvan's appealing performances give it a lot of charm.

Hugh Jackman in a romantic comedy... sigh! Lots of laughs, a romantic storyline, great cast and Hugh Jackman... what more can a girl want?

Story only 2 and 1/2 star, can't understand why Hugh's character have sex with that woman at the end. Extra one star for Hugh Jackman =P
