The trailers were misleading but I still enjoyed the performances and the end result anyway.
    A decent rainy day drama.

So I actually very much liked it. Anne Hathaway is turning out to be a very talented young actress that can pull of more then just a little girls comedy. Patrick Wilson also did very good, them 2 make a great on screen pair. The story was pretty good. Some parts are a little to p...( read more)redicable and some are a little boring, but overall if you're looking for a good thriller and some really good entertainment this is the one to watch!!!

A bit of a "m. night shylaman" ending, which put me off at first. Upon reflection however, I realized that it does have some pretty good drama and acting for a thriller movie. When Hathaway is freaking out in the plane at the end, you kinda feel like you'd do exactly the same t...( read more)hing. I also thought the love story between the two was very believable and real, unlike 90% of love stories in movies. Not too bad.

Ok nice twist. But its been done before. Kinda make you think they?re going to go LoST on us, but not really however (might be cool for a lost episode to be this way, but then again the whole show til recently we were thinking this for the LOSTIES) The movie was kinda boring but ...( read more)still kept my attention. a bunch of people survive a plane crash, they are given the suggestion of therapy, so Princess Mia oh Anne Hathaway, that plays Clair in the movie is a Grief Counselor. that helps the survivors. Claire keeps trying to get in touch with her sister to no avail. Also for herself is playing a detective. Some of her patients start to miss sessions ?.. Everything gets pieced together at the end. But as I have said its been done & I?ve probably seen all those movies plus it is kinda the LOST idea & there can ONLY be 1 group of survivors~ D

Passengers is a mix of the thriller and suspense genres, with a little romance and mystery added in for good measure. If that all sounds like a lot to fit into 93 minutes...well it is.

Anne Hathaway stars as Claire, a psychiatrist who is assigned to assist a few survivors of ...( read more)a horrible plane crash. As she gets to know the survivors, she becomes more deeply invovled in a seeming conflict between the survivors and the airline that apears to be trying to hide something. She grows especially close to Eric, a man that Claire is strangely attracted to, despite his rather odd behavior.

The story is pretty interesting, and leads you down a few different paths before you get to the ending. It's all pretty well done, and as long as you don't dwell on a few plot holes, you may be pleasantly surprised with how it all ends.

The main problem with this is that the movie length is simply too short to make the transitions in the style of the movie seem fluid. The ending comes completely out of the blue, unless you have been paying incredibly close attention. I think the creators of Passengers had a good idea, but I would have liked to see it executed a bit better. Passengers is original and unpredictable, but that's not enough to lift it from good to great.

    I really liked this one.
The outcome is an all to familiar one, but it still manages to captivate you with its atmosphere and its sincerely likeable main characters played by Patrick Wilson and Anne Hathaway.

What a very boring and dreary movie. Trust me, you've seen this ten years ago and it was done so much better than this. The acting was ok, nothing to special. David Morse is usually pretty reliable as well as some of the other members of the cast. This was just a hard movie to fo...( read more)llow and to keep interest in.

good in the beginning but got boring.

Excellent, thought provoking and exceptionally well done. I was not ready for what transpired in this film. If you like tension with a twist then this is the one for you!

I think Anne Hathaway is an amazing actress that sometimes doesn't get her just praise because she started doing Disney movies. This movie though was not her best. It was okay as a suspense movie but it wasn't much of a thriller. I was never on the edge of my seat and the twis...( read more)t ending felt forced. The pacing was also off. There were moments of you feeling that something was oing to happen only to sink back into a really sloooow route towards the twist.
