I liked this, although I found a few scenes here and there to be somewhat familiar from other movies, twas still pretty entertaining and averagely gorey. Maan, just take a gander at Karl Urban mmmmmmmmhmmmmmm!! ;D!!
I have always wondered about; if Native americans ever encountered vikings. In this movie it shows that. not much acting or anything of sort.If I can I'll watch it again. Maybe it's because I'm native american..

This flick is for people who like video game action and only that in their movies.
Just goes to show that writers for movies have run out of ideas. The 300 Spartans in 1962 and now this '07 Pathfinder a loose remake of Veiviseren, a 1987 Norwegian film.
I couldn't make it through the first 40 minutes of this movie. The acting was Jerry Springer caliber. Even the action scenes were obvious bad sci-fi channel green screens. I had really high hopes for this movie but when I finally did get to see it I was appalled completely. I'd rather have a lobotomy then be forced to watch it ever again.

It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't as good as other movies. I think it is one you have to judge for yourself so when in doubt just wait for rental.
I agree with previous comments. This movie just lacked in so many areas.There was alot of potential for greatness, considering the popular book and graphic novel of the same title. Unfortunately it wasn't well presented or in any way very satisfying. If better camera angels and steady filiming had been accomplished, It could have been a quality film comparable to 300. The camera is my biggest complaint but not my only 1, everything seemed a bit dull ,there wasn't much support to the lackluster story, in terms of soundtrack or acting. Very unfavorable.
This movie was a complete waste of time. It had the potential to be great, but, due to the filming method and the terrible storyline, it is horrible. The vision that they were trying to capture was lost on me. It was boring, soo dark through the movie that you can't see half of it. And, during the "action"parts, if you haven't taken a dramamine- get ready to get dizzy. The camera was moving around so much, you can't even see what was supposed to be going on. This movie was a horrible, complete waste of time. HORRIBLELY FILMED MOVIE. TERRIBLE!

Does anyone know how closely it's based on the book by James Fenimore Cooper? I never read Cooper's books but now I feel like I need to. I can't wait till this movie comes out, it looks more than awesome.
I would really like to see this movie I have already seen the trailer previews, and my friend kept looking for this movie on the interent for a while now he said he had seen the previews like a year or 2 ago, I found that kinda bizzare.
But I cant wait to see how the fights turn out vikings vs indians 2 cultural tribes duking it out.

I think this movie will be glorious gore, with the a Heroic story and wonderful characters you will love, and you characters you will love to hate. I am sure the bad guy will be good!
