Dark and twisted. Pretty entertaining. Milo Ventimiglia in a role we've definitely haven't seen before.. I was kind of hoping there was going to be more Johnny Whitworth but he didn't really have a big role in this flick.
What a waste of time. The movie contains more sex-scenes than scenes of killing. Not what I had in mind when I started to watch.. I wanted elaborated killings with a cool twist in the end.. All I got was a softcore film with a few needle-pricks.
Smart, really really smart, you gonna say im sick and sadistic but I want to be a Doctor! XD, but this movie was awesome. Involves Death, Sex, crimes, Drugs, blood, people with the guts out, love, and Sadness!. i got hypnotized since the beginning to the end. i hate the acting of Milo, but in this movie, ill say it was fantastic, really.
One of the movies you just wish there was a NEGATIVE star to mark it with. It would be an undeserved compliment for it to give it any star or even a part of one... There is no appropriate comment for this movie that would exclude the use of bad words,...but one I must use,a t least partly : plain bullsh**
such a stupid movie !!! no comment! They just wanted to make it so SICK so it became only FAKE and FORCED "pathology , sick " movie. come on ! Why does THIS KIND of movies even exists ?! to give idea " stupid" kids ?!!! terrrible !
I really want to give this more stars because I really was looking forward to this movie, firstly because I LOVED Crank, and secondly because this is a wildly original idea and for a low budget film was graced with a slew of above competent actors. The majority of praise has to go to the writers with a cleverly crafted script that provides with some very clever and shocking plot twists which is very refreshing from the usual generic twists of modern movies. Thankfully the writers show a hint of brilliance and both have a definite brilliant future in film. What really ruined the film for me though was how boring it got at some points. This was also helped by the sub-par direction that really didn't try anything fresh or inventive to compliment the ingenuity of the script. This was also helped by sub-par acting at some parts but overall the acting was surprisingly good. Now to get to my favourite part of the movie which was the creativity of the deaths and the level of research that went into the writing of the movie. You really believed in what the actors were saying because it sounded complicated (and it was complicated) but more importantly it sounded realistic so we believed in the actors and we truly believed in what they were saying, so when they were doing the autopsies it is really cool to watch.
It wasn't scary enough to be a horror movie, and not smart enough to be a psycological thriller.
The story had huge logical holes, (which they filled with lots of unnecessary sex scenes) and it was all too predictable without. But the thing that bothered me the most was that in some scenes you could actually see the "dead" bodies breathin.
milo ventimiglia does beyond expectations. Lots of sex, bdsm and human corpses inside out... ewww for my liking but never the less a psychological thriller which is actualy engaging.
It's fun, sick and twisted entertainment with loads of twisted characters to do justice to it.
p.s.The climatic ending of the film leaves you feeling satisfied yet a little sick in the stomach.
This might be the most underrated, unappreciated horror film of the 21st Century. I thought it was very really superbly good. The script comes from the fantastic duo of Neveldine and Taylor who also brought us the adrenaline-on-screen flick Crank. If you saw Crank then you might probably know its full of energy and loaded with man-aggression. Take that energy and aggression and make it into a horror film and you'll get Pathology. The ever present gore didn't feel like it was over the top and the interaction between the characters might feel a bit weird at first but then the character development establishes them as weird and freaky so yeah they were supposed to say and do things like that.
The performance of lead Milo Ventimiglia is passable. If I were to give him a grade I'd probably settle with B. His character here is pretty much the same with his character in the TV show Heroes. A dark, creepy and ominous character who at first might seem pretty shallow but deep down, horrid and morbid thoughts lies at the darkest pits of his loins. On the other hand though, the yang (or yin, whatever) to Milo's Ted Grey therein lies Dr. Jake Gallo, freakishly portrayed by Michael Weston who I'm pretty sure I've seen in a couple of Zach Braff romantic flicks. His performance is so superbly done it reminds me of some creepy guy that Christian Bale portrayed sometime ago. It was creepy, morbid, horrid, scary, spooky, fantastic, amazing, surprising and the list of all the awesome adjectives goes here. Its a pity it didn't get recognized by the movie-going audience. I salute Michael Weston for doing a complete 180 from cheeky Zach Braff love stories to this. A ghastly tale of murder, lust and corpses. Pathology is an A++ 100%. the ultimate thriller experience. You must go see it now.
qm se mai schimba omul :) ...sau poate avea 2 parti. Una buna kre o impartashea doar cu logodnica si alta malefica de kre nu stia nimeni :D...Anyway, Milo is the best ;) joaca f bn rolul asta...
A good story too. I thought I didn't like this film but i've changed my mind [happens a lot to be honest] but anyway. When the guy goes crazy its so intense. A real good watch.
A group of twisted pathologists start a dangerous game that ends in horrific results.
Basically it has an interesting story but it's over the top realization and annoying characters, who act lousy as well, makes this a failure. With a more talented director and screenwriter, this could have become something better. Gotta give an "A" for the last minutes though...
Some hospital residents play a game killing people and try to figure out how the person was killed.
They kill people they feel are just "bad" people. Their egos and attitudes inflate their heads and they think they are now gods. I started to wonder if what they did to the corpses really does happen in morgues?
Lots of gore during the morgue scenes, open chest cavities, brains being taken out of skulls, lots of drugs use, a guy performing an autopsy on his girlfriend...what else can you ask for?
A quite simple movie that shows its low budget in some needless scenes.
So, far beyond to be a masterpiece or an excellent movie, just it was ok for the idea and some nice moments. The only thing that I disliked a lot about this one it was the over abuse of sex scenes, 100% of them were pointless and stupid.
A perverse death club for medical students. High in gore and trying for shock value ( so if your a little squeamish, you might give this a miss). Not a brilliant film but definitely worth a watch as it rolls along at a nice pace but alls fairly predictable and ties up nicely at the end.
A Pretty Good & Interesting Movie. Lots of cutting up body parts though, so if you don't like that sort of stuff, don't watch it. But if you do like things like that, then Enjoy the movie!
Stylish, provocative, a thriller that pushes the envelope and stretches our boundraies. Disturbing and yet sub-concisousely we enjoy every minute of it. Pathology is twisted and diabolically intuitive in its deign and overall production, in which it displays the decay of human decency, and the raw primeval design of man. Some dark performances by a stellar underrated cast, and a plot so manichal and twisted that it leaves you gasping for breath, as it winds its way through the grotesque start to the shocking climax.
I was sure that I wasn't going to like it, but surprisingly, I did. It wasn't as smart as the director seemed to think was, but more clever than I anticipated. Milo did well, as did his nemesis. Alyssa and Lauren Lee were extremely aggravating.
