I wish it hadn't started off as well as it did since it couldn't keep what it promised. After a while the funny scenes comes more and more rarely, and it turns out to be an emotional drama with a message. That would have been fine if they had kept some jokes - now it only felt sl...( read more)ow. The story is also very unnatural and predictable with typical characters. I hoped for a good comedy, but this is more of a drama about a gay couple that want to adopt a child. Because of a mistake, they "receive" a 15 year old teenager named Patrik.

I'm very happy with the movie overall. It's colorful and well-acted drama. Not bombastic and preachy like Hollywood drama movies and much better than your average American "slice-of-life" indie like Rachel getting married etc. Kudos for the director and the actors for elevating a...( read more)n otherwise B drama movie into one of the finest 90 minutes drama movie (and also this movie is safe for family viewing!).

The story in this flick is way out of its time. You know the end before you push play.
