July 18, 2009Very bad recreation of the Pearl Habour attacks, over Americanised and way to top gun-ish for the period. Affleck is a serious no no for casting and the love plot is just pointless filler before the raids. The effects are amazing but thats it.

July 1, 2009I thought it was such a great war film! Ben Affleck was amazing, probably one of his best movies. Didn't like Josh Hartnett very much thoughtout the film. A lot of mixed reviews, but I would recommend it!

November 3, 2009Without the fact that there was war between the US & Japan and I'm a Japanese, this movie deserves The Golden Raspberry Award (and it did.) Only for those who love the special effects such as 3D. The plot of the story sucks. This movie is one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

July 19, 2008Any movie which is based on true events that does not make an honest attempt to stay as true to the original story, to what really happened, especially when we today know exactly what happened, detail for detail, is a movie that I don't want to see. They INTENTIONALLY, & they even admitted this, allowed the script to be different from what actually occurred in history!
This movie sucks bc it is about a true story, but it does not depict the true story, and I will never see this movie! -

But there is too much at the beginning. I did not like the idea of triangle love between Danny, Evelyn and Rafe.
For me the movie starts when the japanese fly over to the harbor and ends when the whole war ends. -

Together, they enlist in the US Air Force and soon enough. there is one love story in the movie one goes his friend and his girlfriend think that he is dead but he comes back when he seas what his friend and girlfriend is going behind him. they both become involved with the same woman. superb scenes of fighting you can not iamgine when japanes attck. must watch this movie if you have not seen.
