This film was bizarre, to say the least.

The story follows a family who move into a house which they think is perfectly normal. But when they have a baby listener to keep a check on their baby, they hear someone's voice, and find out there's more sinister things in the house.

Sound crap? Well, it is. It was...stupid, to put it simply. Not very scary for a film claiming to be a horror either. Oh, and it made no sense. And it was crap. Oh wait, I've already said that.

    Whatever.

The performances and character were really likeable and relatable, some decent ghost-relates scenarios, but overall the film has many plot holes and just doesn't make any sense. Alex De la Iglesia is better off with comedies.

I had heard this was Alex de la Iglesia's worst film....um, not quite sure about that. It is de la Iglesia's most normal movie up to this point though for sure! (wasn't a dark comedy, no strange looking actors, etc.)

And to put this movie in context: this was part of a Spanish made-for-tv movie project: "peliculas para no dormir". And looking at IMDB rating for the movies in this serial, this one was the best of the lot! And I have to agree....this was a pretty decent made-for-tv horror/thriller.

It's about a young couple with a toddler, they move into a old, creepy looking house....and seems like they're not alone in the house, as they find out with the baby monitor. Haunted house? Crazy husband? Or is something else going on?

There's actually a pretty original twist on the whole "haunted house" story (which maybe didn't make a whole lot of sense if you analyze it, but hey its fiction)....the movie kinda reminded me of a (good) Twilight Zone episode.
