Why is it some scripts result in predictable, cheesy, made-for-tv hokum. Whilst something like Perfect Stranger, manages to attract big name stars to take down aboard it's sinking ship? Probably completed before Berry or Willis' cheques were even cashed, this rushed paint-by-numb...( read more)ers thriller is only saved by an unexpected ending. Don't confuse unexpected with good, it was just nice to be caught off guard by something so formulaic. It's easy to forget that Willis is a great actor and huge star, in this film. He's painfully dull and uninteresting. Berry's performance isn't awful, nor is it anything to care about. Ribisi is his excellent self, even if his role as an obsessed and creepy, but not dangerous, colleague could have been the focus of a worthwhile movie.

Sometimes a movie tries so hard to twist and turn that it comes out straight as an arrow. Convoluted, overwrought with contrived moments of tension, this movie fell flat.
I adore Giovanni Ribisi and his performance was superb. Bruce Willis is also a favorite and he played his ...( read more)part quite well. Halle Berry...what the...where...she was boring, tired and simply uninteresting. Her performance was so detached from the character that it was painful to watch. I am not sure if this was something that was intentional given the plot (the very...thin...plot) or simply that she phoned it in, but it was not fun to view.
So obvious in its machinations. The technology employed to make the story move was ridiculous. Twirling around and around and going nowhere, the viewer becomes dizzy stuck in the mire of planted confusion-I will stop here.
This is fun to watch for Ribisi and Willis' performances. Berry is stunning, as always, but embarrassing to watch in this.
Save your evening for something better unless you simply have to see these actors in motion or slow motion anyway.

Perfect Stranger is the story of journalist Rowena Price. When she finds out that a childhood friend has been murdered, she goes undercover to try to figure the story out.
The morale of this tale, is that everyone we know has secrets to hide. Even if you think your secret is saf...( read more)e, chances are someone knows it. It asks the question...How far are you really willing to go to hide the secrets in your past.
I enjoy a good thriller from time to time. I found this movie to be entertaining, not great, but not awful. The beginning of the film seemed to drag a bit, then it picked up. Some things in the film were a tad predictable, but you tend to find a little of that in every thriller. The twist at the end, was a bit surprising. But, I felt they tried to jam too much information into about ten minutes, and should have explored other ways to explain everything.
This movie does have a great cast. Halle Berry was good, and she looked amazing. Bruce Willis plays the womanizer role quite well. I enjoy Giovanni Ribisi very much. He always gravitates to roles where he is a tad out of the normal. I think that is why he appeals to me so much. I would have to say that his role of Miles, was by far my favorite part of this film. I am a CSI fan, so I did enjoy seeing Gary Dourdan in this. Although, his character wasn't very well developed.
As far as thrillers go, Perfect Stranger is worth a see if you are in to that type of film.

Boring, with an arbitrary and utterly ridiculous twist thrown in at the end. Still, i don't regret seeing it. It's always worthwhile to see Halle Berry poured into a tight dress :-)

a reporter (Berry) crosses paths with a powerful executive (WIillis) when she goes undercover in cyberspace and the workplace to investigate a friends unsolved murder.

I know that a lot of people thought that this one was too cheesy for their liking. but we all know, I like the ...( read more)cheese sometimes. ♥

Not bad but nothing spectacular either. The who-did-it part had a twist, but seemed unfair to Miles. Of course, this is true in real life sometimes that life sucks.

Hard to believe, but they finally made a movie with a real surprise ending, I mean one you don't see coming. Good plot with great performances by Bruce Willlis and Halle Berry.
