I loved it but the begining is so sad I suppose they decided ending the movie with Phar lap's death would be a real bummer for every1 so they ended it with his last win instead

Every now and then a film comes out of Australia which turns out to be an absolute beaut. Phar Lap is such a film. You dont have to be a horse racing follower to appreciate this little gem. In effect its a love affair. between a horse and his trainer and the public who adored it. A true story that will have you cheering and then sadly in tears at the realisation of exactly what man is all about - greed. This iss a must see.

A pretty good recount of the life, death and the legend that is the racehorse Phar Lap. FYI: Last year they tested mane hairs and found traces of arsenic.

Another great horse story, a true story based in Ireland, England , and later the United States. Many people never had a chance to see this one. You ever get a chance get it! I will warn you, it is a heart warmer.....
