Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"Less than satisfying and frustrating to think of how great this could have been."
‑ Peter Howell, Toronto Star
"This low-budget Canadian comedy rocks the house like few others."
‑ Bruce Kirkland, Jam! Movies
"There's an irrepressible silliness and a palpable sense of kitsch that runs through much of Phil the Alien. And it's funny."
‑ Scott Weinberg,
"A delightfully freakish comedy."
‑ Leah McLaren, Globe and Mail
"Amateurish and low-budget skit on film has its moments, but mostly in its first half. This film could be a lot more polished but the Canadian humor is genuinely funny."
‑ Mark R. Leeper,
"Looks like it was shot on weekends by a bunch of students, with a loopy, derivative story and poor performances."
‑ Jason Gorber, Film Scouts
"...instantly forgettable..."
‑ David Nusair, Reel Film Reviews
