very comic.. haha, laugh a lot watching this movie.. full of action, very cool camera angle that wowed me in the beginning.. soundtrack from this movie were also very nice..
This movie was very original! I loved its unique depiction of friendship between two different dudes. Peco was HILARIOUS. Smile was awesome. Panda? HAHA!!! nice nickname! really nice really nice ^.^
Beautiful and surprisingly moving movie about... ping pong?! Actually, about the relationship between friends Peco and Smile. Yousuke Kubozuka is great as usual, terrific cinematography, great pacing, fantastic music by Supercar, and very good special effects.
Described as 'Rocky meets Table Tennis' - it tells the tale of two friends - one who thinks he's the best at game, betting and poking fun at his opponent. While the other has the talent for it but only plays for fun, his compassion for the other player always putting him at a disadvantage. When a tournament comes housing Japans' best player, a powerful Chinese opponent, and a childhood friend to both friends among others, the pair must find their true strength to avoid being beaten. Watching this film made me want to try ping pong. Haha. This movie has a great story, acting, comedy, and ping pong action! The only problem for me was the pacing, which wasn't too bad, but still it was a little slow.
This film is just simply awsome. Based on an old manga, the film offers loads of manga style cinematography, comedic elements and story progression. And with an awsome soundtrack it really does feel like you are watching a Manga rather than reading it. good stuff.
Great film about friendship, rivalry and Table Tennis!! How could I miss a film about the sport I love!! Great for fans and non fans, a nice story of friendship, rivalry and the great sport that is Table Tennis!
