Paul, 16, turns up uninvited to visit his relatives. Having recently lost his father, Paul is searching for an ideal world, and he intrudes upon the seemingly ideal family. After rejecting him at first, aunt Anna slowly drags him into her side. Paul is attracted to her. Only too late does he realize that he has been drawn under control, and is now at her mercy. Paul''s hurt drives him into an act of desperation. -- © Cannes Film Festival

Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"A chamber piece with four characters full of unspoken needs that rarely bursts with the kind of tension required to make an impact."
‑ Jay Weissberg, Variety
"Directed with keen insight by Matthias Luthardt, it's a sharply written film that plays like an intriguing short story."
‑ Steve Rhodes, Internet Reviews
