Some people have said this wasn't funny, but I laughed as did the other people in the theatre. I have to admit that I watched the first b/c of Johnny and Orlando, but I watched the second because they are good actors (And we can't forget Keira and the rest of the cast here, folks) and the Pirates trilogy, when complete, will be a woderful additon to Hollywood's not always so sterling reputation.

August 19, 2006Johnny Depp was funny in the original movie, just because it was Johnny Depp being funny. In this movie, they tried to make Johnny Depp be funny and it really hurt the movie. I was hardly amused the entire way through, and the lack of a solid plot made me disappointed to say the least.
