Big disappointment. Awesome directing, cool fx, but I didn't like the plot or what little there was of one. No character displayed any heroism whatsoever. Bravery yes, but heroism hell no. I guess they do end up miserable at the end as a result, but still doesn't make for an enjoyable experience for me.
I didn't find much enjoyment out of this the first few times I watched it. about a year later though, watched it again and was just amazed by it. There is a terrific play of words, great use of dialouge, alot more action, skillful manuvers, and many darker elements then the first provided. Hans Zimmer also managed to provide an asortment and of well displayed soundtracks and music. I thought this was a very entertaining movie.
a terrific sequel. a spectacular return to familiar waters and perfect introductions to new elements. the addition of Bill Nighy as Davy Jones made me wet my pants.
like the first its a must see movie... continueing on from the first jack and the crew chase a tenticle maniack and try to destroy his heart... its kept in a chest lol

Wasn't a bad sequel, but wasn't great either. Depp does great with his zany portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow, and the special effects involved with Davy Jones and his crew are spectacular. But the story just isn't nearly as tight and intriguing as the first Pirates movie.
absolutely beautiful . johnny depp is an amazing actor even though he doesnt think he is funny at all , he really is. orlando is pretty talented too . keira .. i dont like her so much but .. it's ok.
the first one was sooo much better ..here the only good thing was that the characters were well maid and discribed in details ,Johnny Depp, as always ,played wonderfully bbut the plot was soo week compare to the first one that it made me sickkk!! But even tho the plot is not that good , it still made me want to see the next one ,which is going to come out some time....goshh its soo tempting
