MCT:May 16, 2008As with Harry Potter, the subtitles throw me off, and it takes me a minute to remember which one's which. Embarrassing.
Okay, so Johnny Depp is brilliant. Yes girls, it's true, he's an actor. And a damned good one.
Consider: He's been everything from Ikibod Crane to Jack Sparrow to Willy Wonka. I know. I can't spell Ikibod. But still-- DIVERSITY! A great quality in an actor. He plays a comical candy chef equally as well as he does a pirate.
This one was the best one. It, to be true, was not as I had expected... And to think this was all based around a Disney theme ride.
If you know a lot about Orlando Bloom, you probably know, or have noticed that he's a Shakespearean actor. He really does sound like he's playing Romeo or something, but it works, and that's what's important.
Keira Knightley, not the fondest. It may only be because aside from this movie, I have nothing to go on for her ability... and female celebrities are often Satan's hoebags.
Getting back on subject, this was a beautiful movie with dynamic characters and a good plot that was better than the other two but hey it's all good. -

yick im not a johnny depp fan and i still cant believe that such a rag a muffin has a decent career in hollwood but then he is male and if there were a female like her she wouldnt even make one movie al la linda hunt from year of living dangerously

A fun thriil ride, with great comic performances despite the disappointment with the swashbuckling sequences...Jonny Depp and Geoffrey Rush were brilliant!

R u kidin' me snowkiss?! jack's additute is what makes that movie great! I mean.. his ability to fool everybody around, and to make from trouble always sth. usefull for him. he mesures every single situation with such speed, and always chooses the right solution..nerdie right? love it!
