I wasn't planning on watching this one, I was practically dragged to it but I'm glad I did !!
Jack Sparrow is what made me really become a big fan of Johnny Depp and ever since I try to watch him in every movie because he is GREAT !
It was definitely the best of the trilogy but the other two were great as well..
Johnny Depp Owns the Screen as Captain Jack !! Great Movie and Stunt coordination and action scenes !! It would have been great if it werent disney.....it would have been grusome!
When you are being asked to pitch in an idea for a big movie adventure and you involve the concept of pirates and the undead you are sure to be in for a winner.
Taken straight out from one of Disneyland's own theme rides, the translation from that to big summer flick i would say was a succesful one. It does tend to get draggy in some places and feel as if the story goes back and forward too but shouldn't be enough to deter your overall enjoyment of the film.
The one person i would say has benefited this the most was Johnny Depp as his role as Jack Sparrow helped revamp his career. There has not been any character in a movie that has given as many funny one-liners since Schwarzenegger's last decent film and Depp more than made the role his own.
I believe this is a good movie. the characters played their parts well and the story went fine. however, when i watched this film in the movie house, i didnt get the entire story. i was then too tired from an 8-hour workday plus 3 hours of lecture in school that's why i slept through the last parts of the film.
