I'm used to picking up movies based on comparisons to films I love. It's a weird thing that can only happen with horror films. You can get excited about a film that you never would have, have it not been compared to "Dead Alive". It seems EVERY low-budget Zombie film needs to be ...( read more)compared to Evil Dead and Dead Alive. It's a phrase I tend to roll my eyes at, it's used so much. ...never before has it actually been true. Until now with Plaga Zombie: Mutant Zone. This might be one of the few films that matches (OK, comes mighty close) to matching PJ's film for gore, and Raimi's film for creativity on a low budget. If you're a fan of Zombie films, or Horror/Comedies in general this a MUST have/rent..

Great effort for a film that looses steam towards the end. It reminded me of Peter Jackson in his Bad Taste days directing a Biozombie film. I didnt get most of the humor but it was original enough and good looking enough to entertain me.

Plaga Zombie - Mutant Zone puts the low in low budget. Anyone interested in seeing it should know that up front.

The movie plays out kind of like a homage to old Sam Raimi and Peter Jackson's low budget flicks.

With the exception of the pro-wrestling character and his theme so...( read more)ng "John West! John West! He is the best!" I found most of the characters uninteresting and the humor fell pretty flat.

It looks like they had fun making it, but overall I didn't have that much fun watching it.

Argetinian indie zombie crazyness! The gore is plentyful and the zombies looks wicked, and one of them is using it's own intestines as a weapon, for a very messy result. Luckily the characters are as flippin crazy as can be desired, so the zombies doesn't steal the picture.

As cheesy as Return of the Living Dead with gore as creative and well done as in Dead Alive. The characters were excellent and made for some great comedy, as did the zombies. Some of the facial expressions alone made me laugh.

extra low budget from argentina...Exrta funny and gore

Here we got what i would call the Argentian Dead Alive. Goofy horror movie with tons and tons of gore, acting that ranges from good to bad and lotsa cheese! not only are the characters funny but you have no choice but to root for them in any situation! U wont see a Land of the...( read more) Dead here but if you like Dead Alive (although I think Plaga Zombie is way better) then u'll love this one!
