Nevermind that absolutely nothing in the movie is correct in the real world of physics or plane design, and you'll have fun.

I do think you have to be predisposed to z-horror and suspend more than disbelief - common sense as well - to enjoy this flick. That's true for most of th...( read more)e z-movie genre, but especially applicable here. You can also expect not to give a damn about any of the characters. My biggest problem with the movie - and this is one that z-films really shouldn't attempt - is that it breaks its own rules about the zombies. First they can run superfast, then they are pausing and retreating all the time. They tend to attack (in the neck because they haven't the budget to do that many bites) and they take their food back to a safe place, which seems all too convenient as when the zombie breakout does begin, it allows for huge lapses between attacks, or at least larger than would be if these were truly bloodthirsty zombies. Also it seems that a concord flight would not be this empty and I chalk that up to a budget that can't handle all those extras and added extra zombie violence.

All the characters suck except Frank who's got some decent one-liners. It's also very annoying how the characters can instantly produce extra weapons (note the extra handgun) after a sequence where one character just risked himself and the whole plane to retrieve a gun from the infested cargo hold.

Still, this is fun for zombie fans. The makeup is cool and I like the contact lenses. The job done on the Bennett zombie is the most exceptional. Some of the CG is damn annoying, but when they haven't the budget for more than five squibs, I expect that. The bathroom scene actually jumpscared the crap out of me. Zombies flying out of the plane is really damn cool too.

Still, I say avoid this unless you love ultimate cheese and zombie flicks as it won't be even worth the review if you don't dig this subgenre.

Why is it that all I ever seem to watch anymore is bad horror flicks? To be honest, I'm a little burned out, and saying that really depresses me because there's nothing quite as savory in this world as bad horror. Laughably inept misrepresentation of absolutely awful things happe...( read more)ning to people? It's a breeding ground for schadenfreude. But I digress - this doesn't really offer anything new to the sub-genre, although it's actually decently made and has a budget behind it.

Of all the movies out there to copy, though...why Snakes on a Plane? Do these people have any ambition?

Like all the rest of course, looks ok with some good effects but its basically Snakes On A Plane minus snakes and replace with zombies, abit too close really, almost a total rip off haha

Awesome. Juicy zombie chaos in a flying tin can - does it get any better than this? Total absurdity, and a delicious treat for fans of ridiculous zombie movies.

It's like DAWN OF THE DEAD (the remake) meets SNAKES ON A (motherf*#king) PLANE. It has some decent moments, but overall it's pretty boring up until the climax, when the action really picks up. Considering the film takes place on the potentially claustrophobic setting of an airpl...( read more)ane, you would think the filmmakers would take care to build tension and suspense, but they don't. Once the zombie action starts (at about 37 minutes into the movie), it's just a matter of the zombies picking off passengers one or two at a time (kind of like a slasher film); until the climax where the remaining survivors face-off against the growing zombie horde. No real effort at character developement is made either - they're all just one dimensional - you don't care for or hate any of the passengers, so it doesn't really matter when they get killed off. Sacrificing tension, suspense, and character developement is all fine by me in a zombie movie as long as it's replaced by a massively gory bloodbath, and considering this movie was released unrated, I was expecting more gore. The zombies mainly just go for the throat (and not the Lucio Fulci style throat-ripping blood-spewing gore geysers, unfortunately). No gutmunching either. This probably could have been rated R, but I doubt they bothered submitting it to the MPAA since it was a staight-to-video release. The filmmakers tried to inject some humor into the proceedings - some of it works, but much of it falls flat. There are some fairly creative zombie kills, however. One zombie is dispatched by having a closed umbrella shoved into its mouth and out the back of its head - then the umbrella is opened. That was pretty cool. In closing, it was fairly entertaining and worth one viewing, but I wouldn't buy it and have no real desire to see it again.

By Scott: snakes on a plane has a lot to answer for, oviously living dead has been aded to boost sales, but nothing here to suggest its another entry in livind dead series, very cheap looking, even though tney all were, but this is scraping bottom barrel, ridiculas story, top ...( read more)secret transp...( read more)oortation of infected person, so lets go on commercial airliner with one bodyguard, while execs lap it up in first class(please), a sad entry in the series, not good at all Quote End

Who would have thought that zombies on a plane would have been so entertaining? Not only is it entertaing but FotLD includes a decent amount of gore and humour to satiate any zombie afficionado.

Painfully slow. Nice to see Richard Tyson again but this is barely a zombie film and it's definitely a waste of CGI. The trailer's better than the movie.

Surprisingly entertaining. Even if it's a total rip-off of Snakes on a Plane, I found myself enjoying every minute of this B-rated zombie movie.

This Zombie B-Movie takes awhile to get into the zombie action. The characters in the film are annoying & so over the top at times.I'm surprise that the Sci-Fi channel didn't get their hands on this one.I'm giving this 2.5/5 because it has few good scenes but the movie manages to deliver bad CGI effects.
