Ines (Goya Toledo) is thirty-nine years old and single, though she's been involved with her boyfriend Alberto (Christophe Miraval) for years. When Ines discovers she's pregnant, she's not sure what to do; Alberto doesn't want a baby, and it would interfere with her career, but she also knows if she ever wants to have a child, she needs to do it soon. Elsewhere, Antonia (Carme Elias) is trapped in a lifeless marriage with her husband Ernesto (Pablo Vina) and is nervous about an upcoming job interview. As she ponders what to do about her life, she gets a message from Bryan (Brendan Price), her former boyfriend, who tells her he's still attracted to her and wants her to move with him to the UK. And Marian (Ana Labordeta) is trying to get out of an ugly relationship with her husband Julio (Jorge Bosch), who uses her as a punching bag. While Marian and her Monica (Aura Garrido) are keeping their distance from Julio, Marian is still in love with her husband despite her actions, and she's torn between her attraction and the realization he will only hurt her and her daughter. Planes Para Manana (aka Plans For Tomorrow) was the first feature film from director Juana Macias. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi
