Not even the excellent cast could save this misjudged stinker of a movie. Burton should have known better.

I preferred the first Planet of the Apes. This one was OK - the story kept you interested; peace reigns at the end.

This film is a remake that should never needed to me made. I'm not a big fan of remakes, infact I pretty much choose not to view them at all. If a film is already a classic, why film another version?

I dont know anyone who could have brought the original Planet of the Apes back to life than Tim Burton. Loved it... a stretch on the rate, but it was an awesome story.

I don't know why but i like these movies, but probably the older versions are better.
