Headed to Miami to celebrate winter break, a group of four college students from New Jersey take a detour into the bowels of rural West Virginia. There, the unwitting friends uncover the grotesque leg...( read more  read more... )end of Ray Williams, a black truck driver from Maine, who was brutally beaten by a band of locals after stopping off in town for a drink. His body was left for dead in an empty cornfield and never found. Fifteen years later, whispers of the Williams incident still float through the tired walls and eaves of Rolling Glen. As the four friends quickly find out, some believe Williams still roams the woods on the outskirts of town, surviving on the slaughter of wildlife. Others claim to have seen Williams in person, a looming figure with a ghostly white visage, purportedly a makeshift cast to mask the scars and wounds left from the merciless assault. They have a name for Williams now: Plasterhead. Soon, the four friends find themselves holed up in an abandoned farmhouse, mired in a macabre web of terror and facing the truth that Plasterhead is frighteningly real. As these teens will soon learn, true evil has no face.

    Pretty good padding for the slasher genre. Absolutely nothing that strays from the formula, but a decent villain and some pretty nice kills still make it worth a watch for genre fans. Nothing to gain here, but nothing to lose either.

    Ok,so I'm above criticizing a low-budget piece of derivative crap like this?Not tonight I'm not-I'm nursing a sprained ankle,bored out of my gourd-I flip on Superchannel 2(where all the shitty movies go to roost).Take "Pumpkinhead","Wrong Turn","Texas Chainsaw Massacre",throw in ...( read more)some misguided student filmmakers trying to make a coupla dollars,a budget of $31,000,and a cast of zero-talents,and you've got Plasterhead.Secretly,I was hoping for some unintentional laughs,but I was even robbed of that.Recommend this to your enemies(but remember to get out of town..they'll be comin' for ya,just like that pesky Plasterhead be comin' for them kids!)

    DVDs nowadays have all kinds of messages: This film has been formatted etc, etc, bonus materials are unrated and on and on. They really need to start including what format the film was shot on. If I had known this was shot on DV I wouldn't have bothered since DV (usually) equals ...( read more)no budget trash which is exactly what this is. Uneven acting, inconsistent annoying accents, crappy looking blood, not one decent kill and a clumsy-looking killer who so badly wants to be Michael Myers. Avoid at all cost.

    When four friends are headed down to Miami for winter break they head off the highway and take the backroads of West Virginia when they stop for a break to figure out where they are one of them comes a across a bag with cash and a address inside they decide to return it which was...( read more) there biggest mistake turns out this backwoods town has itself a killer named Plasterhead a trucker that years before was beaten by some of the locals and now wants his revenge. ok slasher movie wth a simple plot worth taken a look at if you got nothing better to do since this is a basic paint by numbers horror movie with no real shocks.

    Plasterhead as an evil guy is actually a very good character. He has a good story and should probably turn up in at least 9 sequels killing people for the same reason with no real brilliant plot. But since this movie sucked, his character won?t live on. Sad.
