  Surprisingly slightly better than the original but still rather bland. The songs are second rate but few and far between. For a Disney movie it must be praised for being rather brave by not having Pocahontas end up with John Smith. Again it is plagued by too much formula and not enough individual charm.

  The first 20 minutes of this movie is the best, most moving part of the thing, but from then on it drags down to Yawnsville, with a much darker tone, hit or miss songs (the first one Pocahontas sings is beautiful, & the one the Jesters & Radcliffe sing was really good), & a somewhat rushed plot. The animation is still beautiful, surprisingly, & the colors are gorgeous (but still not up to par to the colors of the first one).

  Pocahontas learns that John Smith has died and that the King of England wants to meet her father or else declare war on the Natives. In order to keep the peace Pocahontas decides to travel to England with her three animal friends Percy, Flit, and Meeko who also come along, as stowaways on the boat. She meets John Rolfe and Governor Radcliffe who has his own ulterior motives and wants to stop any chance of peace between the Native Americans and England. *Possible Spoiler* It's a good sequel but if you're looking forward to seeing Smith and Pocahontas at the end then I suggest you don't watch it.
