Pokémon 3: The Movie (90%)
Pokemon the First Movie - Mewtwo vs. Mew (76%)
Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew (100%)

Plot: The sixth Pokémon feature may well rank as the most satisfying entry in the series because the filmmakers avoid the overblown threats of the earlier films. Ash and Brock are joined not by ...( read more read more... )Misty, but by May and her little brother Max, on a trip to a festival. Butler the magician and his assistant Diane introduce them to Jirachi, a wish-granting Pokémon that emerges every thousand years, when the Millennium Comet appears in the sky. Max and Jirachi quickly bond. Butler tries to exploit the energy Jirachi receives from the comet to regenerate an extinct Pokémon. He accidentally creates a monster that Ash, Max, and Jirachi have to defeat, but it's not the kind of world-threatening menace that throw the previous Pokémon features out of balance. Adults may find the film tedious, but Pokémon-playing children will enjoy it. (Not rated, suitable for ages 6 and older: minor cartoon violence) --Charles Solomon

By far, the worst pokemon movie i saw... It isn't bad, but it lacks battles (The battle with the "Fake Groundon" was more a survival mission than a battle), and the soundtrack isn't that great compared to the previous ones.

This is a good film and one where the story of how an acient pokemon had the power to supposedly grant wishes. But it has power to create powerful evil creatures according to one man's evil will. The story has good characters and great effects, with great Pokemon to boot!

Good movie. The music in the background was pretty good as well. Jirachi's voice fit it perfectly and the friendship between it and Max was nice.

This was probably the best Pokemon movie. The music in the background was pretty good as well. Jirachi's voice fit it perfectly and the friendship between it and Max was nice.

Dear God, Make it stop. I was a huge fan of Pokemon, but after the third movie I thought it was done. But they just get coming out with more and more and it doesn't stop.

the 1st pokemon movie to be released on video besides mewtwo returns.

Ash and his new friends may, max, and the returned brock have new pokemon such as lotad, treecko, beautifly.
and mudkip, and team rocket has new replacements for arbok and weezing, seviper and cacnea.

They meet a new pokemon named jirachi and team magma is shown and so is a fake groudon, everyone thinks that it's real but it's revealed it's a fake one created by a sample of the real groudon's dna.

a great cinematic masterpiece that everyone will enjoy.

(Viewed Japanese Version) Even though it covers much of the same ground as the 3rd and 4th movies, there are some nice storytelling moments here.

I didn't like this as much as the others. The giant fake groudon ruined it for me. Too much, too much. They shoudl have just had the real groudon or something.

Too much, far too much. Absol was good.

Not the best Pokemon movie, but certainly a great one. It's got a nice story that's pretty far removed from that trainer stuff, and nice character arcs for the supporting cast. I only wish they'd done a better job with May's voice acting.

Misty is not in this movie as she is in the others which is kinda bad. But still I like the ideas of this film with all the wishing and stuff. One of the better Pokemon films.

It was on, and nothing else was, and I was bored. It was so ubelievably clichéd garbage that I'm surprised children are able to sit through it at all.

How the hell can they keep affording to make these movies???

I've been a Pokemon fan for many years and find this to be a cute anime film. The music and acting are top-notch, although the plot drags on in some places. I enjoyed it very much, being an avid Pokemon fan myself.
