First Poseidon was the classic disaster movie. This doesn't do to bad in the remake stakes. Plenty of thrills. Better effects of course. Shame the original stellar cast of The Poseidon Adventure weren't in it.

January 10, 2008Anyone know where the already inflated life raft came from at the end? It seemed odd for it to be sitting there waiting for them right where they escape.

May 6, 2007wonderful graphics, great storyline..only that this monstrous wave seems to appear out of nowhere, rlly, and something should have explained it like *hmm hmm* in the original, a seaquake off of crete..the scene though when the wave crashes into the ship is incredible..and i love the violence

March 4, 2007this kinda scares me about going on a cruise...lol it was really action filled and it's a movie that u don't want to stop watching! i can't believe fergie dies! i cryed so much!! this movie was really good overall!

August 5, 2006i was watchin t.v back in may, i saw a preview for this movie and thought it looked awesome. i got to the theatre to watch it, and the movie had spectacular action and some romance scenes, you know if you are going to make a movie you have to include it all. this movie did not disapoint me at all, it was not like the titanic at all which i thought was great, because you dont want to se the same movie twice, you want to see a movie that delivers something so amazing that you know that nobody can compare to it if they try. this movie had some sad parts, but overall this movie had its point. i believe that a major point that this movie was trying to prove was that if you work together you can accomplish more. i liked the acting jobs done by kurt russell and josh lucas, the other actors were good too. go see this movie if you want the action, go see it if you want serious and go see it if you want the added bit of romance this movie doesnt disapoint the action fans, it will leaveusayin wow

June 17, 2006Just last night, the original movie, The Poseidon Adventure, was on TV...it was the first disaster movie I ever saw...and Ive been hooked on that genre ever since...I saw it back in 1970 in Melbourne with my parents so Im hoping that the new version does the old justice...cant wait to see it...the trailer looks really good!
