Second rate musical that would be completely forgotten if Jimmy Stewart hadn't been required by contract to be in it. Oh and he sings! Keep an eye out for a very young Art Carney.

I find it hard to rate these because they're old and so different from movies that are made today. I thought it was really good and would have been fantastic in it's time but compare it to todoay it wasn't the greatest....

pretty much loved this movie. jimmy stewart did fantastic as always, and it's a good story..it kept me watching..& i must say jimmy doesn't sound to bad while singing in this :) definitely worth the watch!

James Stewart can SING?! =) I really enjoyed this movie, and it just goes to show how talented people were. He sings, and plays the harmonica and his performance was once again incredibly charming and wonderful. James Stewart is so great. Haha. Sounds like I have a little crush.

Why Jimmy Stewart followed up The Philadelphia Story with this movie I don't know. Generally, it had a boring plot and it wasn't the most creative. But call me a sucker, I'll love anything with Jimmy Stewart in it. Add in him singing and playing the harmonica and I'm sold to watc...( read more)

i dunno waht movie thsi is. its iitneresting. its some bad acting but jimmy stewart is so good and pulette goddard too. its not even good as a plot. its the worst movie jimmy strwart ever did and hes so good :( onl if u wanna see it. 2 and 1/2 stars!
