Plot: Kevin Sorbo plays Sheriff Preston Biggs, only, following a shooting that occurred a couple of years ago during a bank robbery, he's no longer the Sheriff, and has just about turned into the town drunk...( read more  ).

Seventeen mail order brides were delivered a while back, and three of those definitely didn't work out. Lettie, Abigail and Blue have apparently all gotten "Prairie Fever" a local term for having gone crazy. The women's tales get explained during the film, and we learn why they're behaving as they are.

Biggs has been hired to take the women to Carson City and put them on a train there, two of them to return home and one of them to be sent directly to an insane asylum.

Added to the mix: two bank robbers who have an ax to grind with Biggs; Frank (husband of Blue), whose brother has talked him into getting his money back via what was paid to Biggs; and a mean, old gambler and his beautiful partner who are having a falling out...they all converge on Biggs and his wagon load of women.
