Critic Reviews

  • Mike McGranaghan, Aisle Seat

I won't say that Pretty Maids All in a Row is a good film by any traditional measure. It is, however, a genuine curio.

  • Fernando F. Croce, CinePassion

A scalding satire and, all things considered, a remarkably fecund work

  • Dennis Schwartz, Ozus' World Movie Reviews

At best, it can be viewed as silly fun and harmless soft core porn that offers a snapshot of a bygone era.

  • Rob Thomas, Capital Times (Madison, WI)

Weird mix of teen comedy and slasher film.

  • Ken Hanke, Mountain Xpress (Asheville, NC)

In 1971 this was pretty daring and trendy. Unfortunately, it's no longer 1971.

Did you know Star Trek's Gene Roddenberry wrote and produced a nudity filled slasher film? Neither did I, and it's not great, but boy is it filled with hot 70's tail! Also Rock Hudson's mustache is bitchin.
