good...i like the way that roberts didn't really appear that much of a whore..the start wasn't really encouraging...i mean she's a slut who was willing to have sex with just anybody..and gere wanted to have sex with a slut...but the movie picked up and more emotions were involve..so altogether watch this i think since if u hear the pretty woman song, people would refer to this movie, so save urself the trouble and watch it anyway
One of my favorites. You gotta love this love story. I love Richard Gere and Julia Roberts individually anyway. Another looker is Runaway Bride. It wasn't as good as Pretty Woman though.
Sure, one of my all time favourite romantic movies..Julia Roberts and Richard Gere was breathtaking couldn't keep my eyes off them..so much chemistry..
i loved this film i rremeber watching at at bording school in the dayroom with other housemates and we all loved it is romantic and it has such a good story line
OMG this movie is still wonderful! Love the hotel manager, love Kit, Love the scene in the fancy restaurant. Purplegirl and Lily you will love this one when you get a little older!

This movie had a good story line its probably one of the best movies i have seen, these days there arent alot of movies that have a legiable story line, its a really original theme.
I love how this movie shows that no matter how bad you may think you have it, all you need is someone to take notice of you and give you a chance and you can have the entire fairytale.
excelent movie watched it over 100 times and would watch it over and over very good story line and the two main character that I love and have watched together in several movies and loved them too are Richard Gere and Julia Roberts. GOOD CHOICE for anyone....

The only great part of this movie was when she got to go back to the snobby clothes shop with Richard Gere after she was snubbed for looking like a hooker - oh wait. She was one!
A classic fairytale in modern NY life .
An emotion mixture between rich confused
'perfect' man and poor uncivilized prostitute life .
A movie with lots of memorable scenes which (almost) impossibly happen in real life .
A movie with really 'Fairytale dream seller' theme which more impossible than Cinderella (i knew a REAL story about a boss marrying his servant).
Well , it has positive effect for hopeless people . But , it also makes the prostitutes(especially the road prostitutes) keep dreaming that they can marry rich man , civilized and 'perfect' one . Oh please!it's Impossible!!!!!
At last , with it's pluses and minuses i love this movie ^_^!
