  As far as giant croc movies it's not the best, but it's definitely a solid entry in the genre with nice production value. It also features the most croc on land attacks of any others ive seen. Not as good as Lake Placid, Dark Water or Rouge

  Only saw this movie once and it instantly became a favorite. I like that it's inspired by true events, and that it's very exciting and suspenseful, but what I REALLY like about it is that not only is there a monster in the form a gigantic croc they're after, but the more they delve into the jungle, they perhaps find an even greater danger in the form of a civil war among their part of the country. The croc and the war among people presents double the punch and excitement, instead of just choosing to be a Lake Placid ripoff.

  Fairly successful big croc movie. It follows generic plotlines via generic chracters, but has enough charm to pull it off. Orlando Jones is a great casting choice. His wit elevates the film somewhat, with lines like "This crocs like OJ Simpson. His biggest mistake was killing a white woman". The films biggest fault is setting it's sights too high as it becomes half big croc movie, half social commentary on the political climate in impoverished African countries. These two ideas don't go together that well. Blood Diamond and Lake Placid? Exactly. Lots to enjoy and a decent CGI crocodilian.

  A very thrilling and fun monster movie, in the tradition of Jaws. It's smart, exciting, nail-biting and action-packed. An edge of your seat thriller with a realistic turn at a true story. A great cast of compelling and teriffic actors.

  Where was the movie about a rampaging killer crocodile?! All I saw was a movie about how awful it is in Africa with Civil War and warlords and such. The croc was secondary! Such a shame.

  Well.. the movie isn't bad at all... Just it can't catch a focus on the crocodile... But, it's a true story anyway... U can change what already happen, right??

  kinda like everybody else thought this was gonna be like another Lake Placid, but turns into a semi-horror/political film when it touches on the genocide, and the guerillas killing taking the lives of innocent villages in Africa. So all around it was an okay movie but the fact that it is a true story, that all the killing and death in Africa, led to the creation of this gigantic crocodile, this movie is definetly worth a look.

  The misleading trailer & deceiving marketing to make this film look like a slasher/horror film about a serial killer not human with no screening for the critics is a sign for me to not expect from this film to be that good or great.The film doesn't work as a horror film in my opinion is more in the action/adventure genre with a little bit of suspense.Our serial killer Gustave the giant crocodile looks CGI at times & the gory effects could've been better if it wasn't for the annoying editing with the shaky camera effects to not show the crocodile attacks that graphic as a result of this it became an okay movie.
