Plot: After moving to a new town with his divorced and lonely father, Junior attempts to fix him up.
They need to make a real part 3 where they bring back Michael Oliver to pull fatal pranks and call it "Problem Adult"
Junior Healy (Michael Oliver) gets a new rival is a girl named Trixie (Ivyann Schwan) shares his fondness for playing pranks. Ben Healy (John Ritter) is attractive to school nurse, named Annie (Amy Yasbeck) is revealed Trixie's mother is single. Junior & Trixie realize it would be best if their parents married each other, so the two kids must work together.
Worth watching for the humor, since many actors and the type of homor are the same from the original.
Junior and his father, Ben, move from Cold River to Mortville. Junior becomes threatened by Ben's desire to date again and find a new mother for Junior, and sabotages each of his dates. Ben falls in love with Annie, the school nurse. However, Annie is the mother of Trixie - who is worse than Junior in his behavior and equally resents her mother dating again. Then Ben meets Lawanda, the richest woman in Mortville, who desires to marry Ben and send Junior to boarding school in Bagdad. And Ben now has to make the decision whether to continue to pursue Annie for love or marry Lawanda so Junior can have a mother.
I remember liking this movie better than the first one because the creepy red headed boy had a nemesis rather than his parents. Ahh, John Ritter was awesome no matter how not-so-good the movie was.
Loved this movie, so much when I was a kid. and what do you know still a great movie. I can't remember the first Promblem Child at all, but I know I like its sequel. Enjoy!
OMFG. I'm really finding my childhood favorites all over flixster now. I remember the scene of the birthday party and all the presents in the pool, the barfing scene... I always loved the villains, and these two were just mean and wrong. I would still watch it today.
A little better than the first one. Wouldn't have believed it was the same woman playing Annie and Flo.
The fairground scene is sick as fcuk, sick being the word!!!! lol
mint film, john ritter will be missed.
Not very good, the first one was alright but enough already! You don't want your kids watching these for fear they'll pick up some of the traits!
