why the hell do americans have always to do a remake of what is already untouchable? for what comes to horror movies that's what happens, they did it with Ju On, they did it with Ringu, they did it with [Rec], and even had to change the title to a now predictable movie. [Rec] was just fine. geez, no wonder they're so self centered. no offense.

I've seen enough horror remakes to recognize a bad one from a good one at first glance.
The trailer that played before Hellboy II makes this look like a bad one. -

My Prediction: They're all gonna die in some PAINFUL way like getting bitten are or eaten and then the "Infection" is gonna spread threw out L.A. and TURN EVERYONE INTO ZOMBIES!! well good television people! Doesn't anyone know that Zombies movies are old and over rated. Stop making them. -

okay i didn't watch [REC] (and i heard its good? im watching it as soon as i have time)
but i guess this filming approach might work well in building up the tension with zombies and all attacking people in a locked building.
and as for jennifer carpenter.. i would prefer someone with less on-screen experience to be the cast, she's giving the film an even more commercialized approach... but as far as i'm concerned i'll be watching this, it seems interesting.. -

I have little hope that this will be as good as the original, [REC], but it'll be interesting to see how it turns out. [REC] was pretty good for a low-budget hand-held camera horror film.
