A housewife who prowls for new men each night, the private sex club run by her mother-in-law, and the exploits of a country girl adjusting to the more liberal atmosphere of Tokyo are the hooks upon which Sato hangs his usual observations of urban sin and alienation. Granted, the tone is somewhat lighter than in his notorious S&M films, but the message is none the cheerier for being framed with humor.
