    Hoffman and Cruise make a good combination. It always amazes me how Hoffman can become some of the characters he's played, fully inhabiting and expressing their personas.

    Dustin Hoffman is obviously amazing in this movie but Tom Cruise has one of the most underrated performances... Like most of Tom Cruises career hes just the good looking guy but he is great... The Color of Money... COME ON! Vince is a career character! Pete Mitchell seriously.....( read more). nobody coulda done maverick the way Tommy did Maverick... fuck hes gold... and in Magnolia... for fucks sake... give him the damn statue already you bastards... maybe then he'd stop trying so damn hard and we could get some good action movies out the fucker again...
