One of my fav Coen bros. The cast is so hilarious and there are some amazing camera perspectives.

This is a great film, great & craaaazy chases and camera angles.. it's no wonder this film is usually in the top 50 films of all time.
One of the Coen Brothers first films, a delightfully dark comedy that only their twisted genius minds could conceive.
ah, the Coen Bros....quite possibly one of the weirdest comedies I've ever seen. quirky, surreally hilarious slapstick. brilliant performance from Cage and Hunter--the perfect oddjob couple. excellent movie.
screwball by way of road runner cartoons, this is coens doing all out comedy, great comedic moments only coens could do, superb set pieces, and in nic cage a mad southern performance, hes great at that,
Holly Hunter is a scream in this...'you just go back in there and get me a baby!' I am sure this is what inspired 'Happy Texas' almost 20 years later. You have to love a love story of down home folk. Nicholas' gentle nature is so obliging and well intentioned. Wonderful subtle hu...( read more)
i really like this movie, another Coen brothers classic. really funny and Cage is great in it.
One of the best comedies of the 80s and all time! Nic Cage and Holly Hunter are superb in this! I laughed from beginning to end!
Funny film by the Coens. Great Huggies run scene and Cage is fantastic as Earl Hickey.
I very funny film. Coens doing what I love them doing. Somethimes that song was annoying though.
lol this movie was a riot i was laughing along the whole way. great Charechters and great story over all great movie and weird as shit!
Coen brother's second movie. I loved it! Nic Cage rocks (he shows he''s a good actor, despite the horrible movies he played in later) and the whole film is entertaining and so funny, although I still prefer the "darkest" side of the Coens.
This movie has my vote for the finest straight-up American comedy of all time.
I heard that Nicholas Cage hates this movie. Really? Has he watched anything that he has been in for the past five years.
my fav movie ever! The reason I fell in love with Nicholas Cage, and I was 2 or 3 when it came out!
The very best Coen brothers movie and the movie where Nic Cage is at his least irritating. One of the greatest chase scenes ever.
"The salad days are over." I am still convinced this is Nicolas Cage's best performance - I really loved this movie and his drawling, witty, and surprisingly eloquent narration.
Just simply hilarious. One of the few movies I really like Nicolas Cage in.
I like all of the Coen's movies, but this one has the most quotable dialog.
So inane, I almost dare you not to laugh. I really like this movie and if you like "O'Brother where art though", you should really enjoy this film as well. While the plot may seem almost preposterous, it is still a zany adventure that just pulls you along the way. And if you d...( read more)
This is a hilarious film!
It's a twisted tale, a great ride with a great cast. I love this movie as I do with most Coen Brother films.
Nicolas Cage and Holly Hunter are absolutely wonderful in this 1987 Coen brothers' film. "Edwina's insides were a rocky place where my seed could find no purchase."
Early Coen brother's at their best. I love this movie from beginning to end.
This is a very strange and wonderful movie. I guess it's one of those you either love or hate.
Classic Coen brothers... I remember my family watching this one quite a lot. Actually, a lotta people 'round these areas love it. Might type s'more laters...
